The poll-opposing 33 smaller parties' alliance, whose proposal for a round-table conference was turned down by the four major parties, is considering organising the same within themselves, said the party sources on Monday.
A meeting to this effect was held at the party office of CPN-Maoist, which is leading the alliance, at Budhhanagar, Kathmandu.
"As the government and High Level Political Committed rejected our offer, we ourselves are conducting a round-table conference," said Pasang Sherpa, a leader of Social Democratic Party. "We will further discuss the future course of our programs," Sherpa added.
The talks with the 33 parties' alliance could not succeed, as they repeated the demand of election postponement and termination of the interim election government.
Earlier, the HLPC, in principle, had agreed for a round-table conference following signals from the 33 parties' alliance that they were ready to drop these two demands. Nepalnews.com
