Nepali body building team off to Vietnam

Nepali body building team on Monday left for Vietnam to participate in the 47th Asian Body Building Competition scheduled to be held from August 27 to September 2 in Ho Chi Minh city of the South East Asian country.

The body builder participants include Ram Bahadur Dahal (60 kg), Sanjiv Kumar Shrestha (65 kg) and Rameshwor Maharjan (75 kg).

Similarly, the team is accompanied by Mohan Krishna Shrestha, member of Nepal Body Building and Fitness Association as the team manager and Bijay Lal Kayastha, first vice-chairman of the Association and International Judge, as the judge of the team.

Dahal had won silver medals in 65-kg category in the South Asian Body Building Championship held in Punjab, India and in Hong Kong Body Building Championship.

Similarly, Shrestha had won bronze medal in 70-kg category in the South Asian Body Building competition held in Bhutan.

Nepal had won bronze medal in 55-kg category in the 46th Asian Body Building Championship. Sujan Lama had clinched the medal. Nepalnews.com
